The Woodmont Day Camp has been a hidden treasure for many years. Currently though, it is rapidly ascending towards a top picnic venue in this industry. Located in New City, NY, Woodmont presents a nice compliment of amenities for everyone and some different features that are generally not found at a picnic facility. All 50 acres of the facility are beautifully designed to keep everyone together, but active.
If your organization is from Manhattan, Rockland County, NY or Bergen County, NJ this location should be a hit with all your guests. Woodmont is 20 minutes closer to NYC than any other day camp in NJ or NY. Your organization would be the exclusive guests of Woodmont on picnic day and the camp is insanely shaded by trees for those hot picnic days. It is suggested that a final guest list of 200 or more be the initial commitment from your group.
The two bonus features that make Woodmont stand out are having a swimming pool complex and a lake available. Rarely do these accommodations coincide. The second highlight is having an outdoor dining grove and an adjacent indoor dining area available in case of inclement weather. Woodmont is handicapped accessible.
At Woodmont, safety and cleanliness take a high priority. There will be trained lifeguards at both the pool and lake. All guests must wear a life vest at the lake. There will be Woodmont team members at all the operating amenities to help instruct and organize. There are plenty of clean restrooms that are maintained during your picnic day.
